Scotsman Guide Highlights the Mortgage Industry's Community Involvement
Now in the magazine's residential edition, Helping Hands features mortgage professionals who volunteer to help others in need.
Bothell, WA (PRWEB) May 4, 2006 -- Residential-mortgage-industry professionals who volunteer to help others will soon have a chance to share their stories in the pages of Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators. In June, the nationwide magazine will launch a new department in its residential edition that highlights the mortgage industry’s philanthropic activities — "Helping Hands."
Each month, Helping Hands will highlight a mortgage company or mortgage professional that has volunteered on a local, national or global level. A preliminary call for submissions for future editions has already received a tremendous response from the industry.
Also appearing in Scotsman Guide's commercial edition, Helping Hands has featured: mortgage professionals working with orphans in Africa and Cambodia; a company that works with students in a low-income area through the I Have A Dream Foundation; and another that aided a veteran-rehabilitation program.
Mortgage professionals and companies who appear in Scotsman Guide have said they receive a great amount of industry response. Past Scotsman Guide author Rick Troutman, of HispanicLending.com, says: "Since my article appeared in Scotsman Guide, we have had literally dozens of calls and e-mails from brokers wanting more information."
