Learn.com®, the leader in creating and projecting power-on-demand, today announced that the company has signed a deal with ITG Competency Group, a leader in ready-to-use job/competency data products, which further enhances the already robust skill and competency management capabilities within the Learn.com LearnCenter®. The new partnership populates ITG’s ready-to-use Competency Models of Jobs, Competencies and Learning References within the LearnCenter for rapid deployment.

The ITG Database provides complete job profiles for all jobs titles, position descriptions and key responsibilities for each job; detailed behavior based skills for learning plans, and learning references that can be used as assignments for training and mapped to each competency.

“According to a recent industry study, just about 25% of companies surveyed experience trouble with content integration. We have already pre-populated our LearnCenter with over 50,000 Shareable Content Objects ready for client deployment. Learn.com is unique in that we are the only LMS/LCMS company in Gartner’s e-Learning Content Magic Quadrant and offer over 1,100 of our own e-courses,” said JW Ray, Chief Operating Officer at Learn.com. “This additional pre-integration of ITG’s library within our The Ability Utility® skill and competency component of LearnCenter underscores our one-stop shopping approach for clients who are looking for one system to cover pre-hire to retire.”

“The combination of the ready-to-use ITG Job-Competency data and Learn.com's e-learning suite provides a total solution for maximizing the workforces of our mutual clients,” said Susan Lacoff Resner, Vice President of ITG Competency Group. “The partnership of ITG and Learn.com provides a great opportunity for our joint clients to jump start their performance and learning initiatives.”

Resner added, "’Ready-to–use’ job and competency data models minimize the risk of failure. The amount of time, money and expertise to develop a robust, validated competency model is enormous. Our Models provide a consistent framework and common language for the enterprise and provide speed-of-execution for all competency based initiatives. Our Models eliminate political and cultural issues frequently associated with development of a model from scratch. ITG Competency Models are flexible and easily customized to meet the unique needs of most organizations.”

Learn.com now offers a number of complete Competency Models to clients via ITG including:
