We look forward to providing our customers with a powerful and scalable security and management solution for their mobile assets. This dynamic combination of our extensive experience and proven track record and Safefreight’s innovative technology is unbeatable.

Safefreight Technology is pleased to announce the signing of a reseller agreement with ATCO Frontec Security Services (AFSS). AFSS is a leading worldwide provider of site security and support and facilities management services to the resource, telecommunications, security, and defence sectors.

The agreement allows AFSS to couple facilities security, including its 24-hour Central Monitoring Station call center services with Safefreight’s patented AVL security technology. Initially, the Safefreight/AFSS team will be exploiting market opportunities in the transportation, oil & gas, and construction verticals.

ATCO Frontec is a major industrial services division of the ATCO Group. With more than 7,000 employees worldwide, the ATCO Group is a multi-billion dollar Alberta-based corporation actively engaged in power generation, utilities, and global enterprises.

Safefreight’s fleet management technology came to the attention of AFSS as a result of a successful Safefreight pilot program with ATCO Gas, another ATCO Group subsidiary. The exhaustive analysis by ATCO Gas determined for ATCO Frontec that no other company offers the features and functionality that Safefreight offers. This has resulted in AFSS entering into a reseller agreement enabling AFSS to offer Safefreight’s onboard hardware and solutions to their client list of 1,400 commercial accounts. In addition to providing solutions to ATCO’s customers worldwide, Safefreight and ATCO Frontec will address the internal needs of the entire ATCO Group of companies.

“We look forward to providing our customers with a powerful and scalable security and management solution for their mobile assets. This dynamic combination of our extensive experience and proven track record and Safefreight’s innovative technology is unbeatable.” said Douglas Wood, General Manager of Western Operations ATCO Frontec Security Services.

“ATCO Frontec Security Services is one of the most experienced and reputable security solutions providers in the world, and we are excited to join forces with their team. We hope to leverage their considerable marketing and sales presence in order to reach a wide cross-section of markets.” said Curtis Serna, Chief Executive Officer of Safefreight Technology. “Through this business relationship, AFSS will have the ability to monitor the specific condition of the fleet and other mobile and portable assets, notify the appropriate stakeholder as required, and through event management, escalate responses according to prescribed procedures.”
