New Los Angeles Radio Show Teaches How To Get Good Publicity

Newsroom Confidential, a live weekly radio show airing on KRLA 870 in Los Angeles, is the insiders' guide to journalism and public relations. The show is hosted by award-winning journalist, Dean Rotbart, who has covered the media for more than two decades and taught thousands of PR professionals how to improve their effectiveness.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 7, 2006 -- Dean Rotbart, a Pulitzer-Prize nominated journalist and former columnist for The Wall Street Journal, is the host of a new one-hour radio program, Newsroom Confidential. The show made its debut on April 23.

The weekly show airs live at midnight on Sundays on KRLA-780 AM. The program features interviews with leading national and regional journalists as well as public relations experts. Each week, the program names a "Journalist of the Week."

The show, which is simulcast on the Internet and available as a Podcast (www.newsroomconfidential.com), targets CEOs, authors, entertainers, entrepreneurs and others who themselves are the subject of news stories - or would like to be.

Rotbart has conducted Newsroom Confidential media relations workshops for senior-level communications executives since 1992. He personally has taught more than 5,000 PR practitioners how to improve their effectiveness with the news media.

In addition, Rotbart serves as chairman and executive editor of TJFR Group, Inc., a Denver-based media publisher and host of multiple media relations web sites, including NewsBios.com. NewsBios.com offers in-depth dossiers on more than 6,000 influential journalists and is used widely by PR firms and Fortune 500 companies.

"We are most excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your new program," said R.J. Beaton, a NewsTalk 870 KRLA station executive. In addition to Rotbart, KRLA features such weekday hosts as Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Michael Savage and Laura Ingraham.

Rotbart's show invites calls from listeners seeking public relations advice.
