A new photography website that specializes in matching up photographers with consumers is set to launch in mid-May. http://www.dayinthelifephotography.com provides professional photographers a place to list services as well as a place for consumers to find a skilled photographer in their area who is willing to make a "house call" or visit other locations to shoot natural-looking, documentary-style photographs.
Photographers will be listed by city and state, and their contact info (website, phone, email) will also be listed.
This type of photography has many advantages for the consumer, including not having to wait in long lines, said Cindy Bracken of shuttermom.com. Children are also more comfortable at home or in an environment familiar to them, eliminating forced expressions and helping the photographer to bring out their true personality. Hobbies, interests and personal belongings can be incorporated into the photographs, or a visual story told about the subject, or an important event documented – making for a much more pleasurable experience for both the family and the photographer.
The site can be found at http://www.dayinthelifephotography.com
