Bretton Woods, NH (PRWEB) May 10, 2006 -- In an era when time is at a premium, people are looking to fill their life with enriching travel experiences that will allow for active participation and immersion in a destination's offerings. The new traveler wants to be involved - to learn new experiences, to interact with loved ones, and to learn about and appreciate the destination at more than a superficial level. Travel is now seen as an opportunity to spend precious time renewing yourself or nurturing relationships with important family and friends.

Fun is on the lesson plan for the Resort's slate of in-depth schools offered for the summer of 2006. A gourmet retreat is in store for all who attend the Summer Fresh and Abundant Harvest Cooking Schools. Aspiring photographers are invited to join professionals to learn the art of successful composition at the Photography Schools. Guests can discover the artists in themselves in the beautiful and colorful setting of The Mount Washington Resort at the Painting School. The Fly Fishing School will whet appetites as well as lines, and fishing and golf will combine for challenge and fun at the Cast and Putt Schools.

Family Rock Climbing School will bring the family together to share the thrill of learning rock climbing skills, and The Resort invites guests to team up with a partner and meet other fun couples to experience the excitement of learning the sport of rock climbing at fantastic local cliffs at the Couples' Climbing School.
