MotionCoach is Appointed a Preferred Partner for the Parliamentary initiative Building Schools For The Future

www.motioncoach.co.uk visual analysis education software has been appointed as a Preferred Partner for the UK Parliamentary initiative Building schools for the Future.

Beaconsfield, UK (PRWEB) May 10, 2006 -– Building Schools for the Future is a new, strategic approach to capital investment in school buildings that will create the environment for the Government's agenda of educational transformation.

A total of £12 billion has been assigned to this project (£5 Bln in 2005/6 & £6.3 Bln in 2006/7). The main areas of activity will be the building of new secondary schools in towns throughout the country along with focusing on updating current buildings, improving kitchens and dinning facilities and the introduction of ICT across the curriculum.

"Over time this investment will see the entire secondary school building stock upgraded and refurbished in the greatest school renewal programme in British history." Prime Minister Tony Blair

MotionCoach is a powerful visual analysis teaching aid which can be used by teachers and students to obtain a clearer understanding of movement. Film clips are easily captured and then analysed using a variety of useful tools including overlade graphics, freeze frame and combining Microsoft Word and Excel. Visual analysis empowers the student’s mind and saves time by allowing the technical and complex skills of movement to be learnt more easily.

MotionCoach Flex unique education pricing structure allows schools to equip each student with advanced visual analysis/learning software on a term-by-term basis at minimal cost. With every student having access to MotionCoach, teachers can issue several visual clips as homework. As part of regular course work students can analyse various clips to demonstrate their understanding of the difference between a professional and amateur performance.

MotionCoach PrimaryVision is a version of MotionCoach specifically designed for primary schools to assist in the teaching of Core Movement skills which is an integral part of a child’s physical development.

“The modernisation in the education sector, requires appropriate management of all learning and recreational resources such as sports and recreational apparatus, office supplies, furniture, stationary, IT and multimedia; all facilities which are a key necessity for organisations such as schools or colleges to operate. In conjunction with this, facilities and resources need to be made available for children with learning difficulties or special needs. Therefore, all of these factors need to be considered carefully due to the impact on the learning and teaching environment.”
ST JAMES’S HOUSE

Louise Caudrelier, MotionCoach Director states: “We are honored to be recognized for our efforts and the opportunity to take part in this important program that will improve our nation's schools.”
