Kari Joys MS, author and psychotherapist from Spokane, WA., launches her book campaign on Thursday May 11th for a 24-hour promotion. The book, Choosing Light-Heartedness was #10 in the bestseller list on Barnes and Noble.com on Wednesday. It is now available through any bookstore, but if it is purchased through Joys’ website at http://www.kari-joys.com on Thursday, May 11th, it also includes numerous bonus gifts consisting of audiotapes, articles, e-books, and other free gifts related to emotional health and self-improvement.

According to Joys, the high cost of living and the lack of good medical insurance often makes it nearly impossible for people who are struggling emotionally to get the psychological help they need.

“Even though we live in an information age, the simple psychological information that could change people’s lives is not available in an easily understandable format to those people who really need it.”

To solve this problem, Joys has recently written a book called Choosing Light-Heartedness, a 33-Day Journey to Overcome Anxiety, Depression and Dysfunctional Family Issues. The book provides a daily format of simple, workable tools to teach people the necessary steps for emotional and psychological healing.

At a young age, Joys also could not afford the high cost of psychotherapy.

“I was in a lot of emotional pain in my early 20’s that came from the dysfunctional family I grew up in, but I simply couldn’t afford the help I needed to work though my issues,” Joys says.

After practicing psychotherapy for more than 20 years, Joys has not forgotten those early painful years. She strives everyday to help people who are hurting emotionally, by teaching them the skills necessary for emotional healing.

Joys says, “If people knew what to do to heal emotionally, many of them wouldn’t need to take anti-depressants of anti-anxiety medications. Emotional healing doesn’t require a high level of education. It just requires a willingness to role up your sleeves and do the emotional work necessary for healing.”

Dr. Joe Vitale, best-selling Author of The Attractor Factor was very positive about Joys’ new book stating, “Choosing Light-Heartedness takes you on an amazing inner journey. Joys has masterfully streamlined the emotional healing process by breaking down the process of long-term psychotherapy into simple, workable tasks. Now even those people who cannot afford the luxury of a professional’s guidance can still achieve dynamic personal growth!”

John-James Angheli, author of A Course in Greatness from Sydney, Australia, was also very enthused, and he said, “Like a great friend, Kari Joys gently counsels the reader to break through any limitation and to dynamically expand our understanding of who we are and what we are capable of. In her book, Joys takes you by the hand and walks you through a series of exercises and meditations to give you many personal and profound insights for choosing ‘the road less traveled.”
