Authors Kathleen Gage and Lori Giovannoni are pleased to announce their book "The Law of Achievement: Discover Your Purpose, Possibility and Potential" achieved Top Five bestseller status with online book seller Amazon.com the day the book was released.

Launched on May 2nd by a campaign to raise funds for a nationwide literacy program and generate awareness for the book, "Law of Achievement" offers insight about how to turn life’s challenges into positive and valuable learning experiences. It is both a personal and business text, as the authors reflect on a personal tragedy and the impact on their work. As a result, they now enjoy a renewed outlook on success and achievement.

Achievement is nothing new to authors Kathleen Gage and Lori Giovannoni. With dozens of business and leadership awards between the two of them, Gage and Giovannoni were often driven by traditional measurements of success.

The catalyst for writing this book was a life changing experience for both authors that forever shifted their perception of success. Giovannoni’s husband was in a serious motorcycle accident that left him in the shock trauma and intensive care unit for over three months. During this time, both she and Gage reevaluated priorities and discovered a renewed purpose and potential.

Having been driven by the traditional measurements of success, Gage and Giovannoni discovered the counter-intuitive laws of achievement that had been brewing in their consciousness for years. It was through their shift in perception the realization that all the awards, recognition and accolades held little meaning in the overall picture of life.

"Law of Achievement" is the kind of book you want to buy for yourself and another copy for a friend. It is written to offer the right dose of encouragement and support one will keep within arms reach when needed. Topics include “Kindness is an achievement few of us master,” “Each of us is said to possess potential,” “So many possibilities, so little time,” and “Live today as if it is your only day.”

Authors Gage and Giovannoni are using a portion of book sales to raise funds for and awareness of Executive Women International® (EWI) and its annual nationwide Reading Rally program. EWI is the leading connection for business professionals, offering professional development and community service opportunities to more than 3,000 members. EWI was founded in 1938 to provide business professionals from diverse industries a forum for promoting their firms, enhancing their personal and professional development and engaging in community activities.
