King Of Prussia, PA (PRWEB) May 10, 2006
Todd Cardin of ETC Theater announced today that his theater company will be performing an encore presentation of Dramamine High on May 20 in King of Prussia. Dramamine High played to sold out audiences last month at the Shubin Theatre and recieved glowing reviews. The musical will be playing at the MDP Auditorium for one night. The event is being sponsored by MDP Athletic Association and all proceeds will benefit MDP.
In February following a successful run in Philadelphia, ETC performed "Pictures of Lily" at MDP for a benefit that went extremely well. Staging was provided by Steve Wildemann and Advanced Staging of West Chester who again will supply sound and lighting. "Wildemann's group is amazing.", Todd Cardin said. "Advanced Staging turned the auditorium into a theater. The whole experience was unbelievable."
The play was directed by Cardin's wife Emily. The musical starred Cardin's Daughter's Esther, and Elizabeth and niece Maggie. The original cast is returning for the latest run, inclucing Emily Deller, Paul Valenti, Vicki Burdo, Andrew "Teen Sensation" Wisniewski, Emily Poche, Marnie Norris, Danny Kilpatrick and Morgan Karas. Morgan's father Chip, Maria D'Alleva and Mike Ridgeway also star.
The Drama Club learns that there will be no school musical unless they can recruit the in-crowd to take the stage. Worlds collide when the jocks, nerds, stoners, cheerleaders, snobs and dweebs get together. Are these kids more alike than they want to admit or will they let the labels that define them be who they are?
