The Daily Happy Blogs Its Way to the Top

Celebrity gossip column The Daily Happy selects Blogger to archive celebrity fashion, style, trends and shopping gossip.

London, UK (PRWEB) May 12, 2006 -- London based celebrity gossip blog The Daily Happy has reached celebrity status in the Blogger search engine ratings. A quick search for 'celebrity gossip' brings the blog column up in the number one spot.

The Daily Happy celebrity gossip column started life at the beginning of this year, initially the tit-bits of celebrity gossip, fashion news, trends and peeks into celebrity lifestyles were delivered to a VIP list of subscribers via email.

"As the subscriber list grew so did the pile of yesterday's gossip, so we decided that we needed to archive it," comments Daily Happy editor Ed Daily. "We didn't want to create a run of the mill website, so we looked at the alternatives and played around with a few of the blog platforms before deciding upon Blogger to host our celebrity gossip archives. By taking this step we have opened up The Daily Happy celebrity gossip columns to the entire wired world. Having said that the juiciest bits of gossip are saved especially for our subscribers, this once small, yet elite bunch of London celebrity subscribers has now grown to over 45,000."

The Daily Happy is currently employing the services of interactive agency IDtv Media to further increase subscriber acquisitions, the current campaign is driven by a call to action to win the latest Fiorelli designer handbag. Subscription to The Daily Happy is free.
