Their new book, “StarKazar and the Mysterious Happenings.” is written from the perspective of 15-year-old Aaron Zelos, an average boy, except for a white mole on his back. Aaron's mother, Charlotte Zelos, is still mourning over the death of Lazarus, her husband and Aaron’s father. She is unbalanced and unapproachable despite Aaron's attempts to reach her. Aaron, like most teenagers, learns to deal with bullies and troublemakers, and because he has abilities from another world, he dishes out his own brand of revenge.

Throughout the book Aaron develops bonding relationships with his friends. We learn that, in Aaron’s world, size and gender do not matter. During different events, a soccer game, a trip to the museum, Ms. Silver’s accident, and his match with a powerful alien, that girls can do just as well or better than boys and that power does not always come from size. Aaron experiences his first kiss and discovers through a previously unknown family relation, Ethel Wingard, how he performs his abilities, and finds that assumptions and rumors are not always true.
