On Thursday, May 11, 2006 Full Sail Real World Education welcomed legendary Producer/Engineer, Bruce Swedien, to the Full Sail campus.
Swedien is best known for his work with artists such as: Paul McCartney, Quincy Jones, Jennifer Lopez, Duke Ellington and Michael Jackson, who he worked with on the album "Thriller" which was the biggest selling record of all time. Swedien spoke to the students of the Full Sail Recording Arts Degree Program, and was presented with an honorary Full Sail degree by President, Garry Jones. Swedien is the third recipient of an honorary degree from Full Sail’s Recording Arts Program. Previous honorees include Re-Recording Mixer, Ken Teaney and Producer/Engineer, Bob Ezrin.
