The Brooke Trace Gallery hosts the May Gallery Opening Benefiting A Child Is Missing, Friday, May 19 from 6 to 10 p.m.

(PRWEB) May 12, 2006 -- The public is invited to join in the the Brooke Trace Gallery Exhibit Opening to support A Child Is Missing, Friday, May 19th from 6-10 p.m. The event takes place at 1098 NE 45th Street(Floranada Road). There is a ten dollar donation requested at the door and Memberships to A Child Is Missing are available for twenty-five dollars.

Brooke Trace and Randy Rogers will host the event which will feature a silent auction hosting a variety of items donated by local supporting businesses located in Oakland Park and Wilton Manors. This is a great networking opportunity. Meet Friends of A Child Is Missing, Oakland Park & Wilton Manors Chamber of Commerce Members, Mack Power Networking Group, and the local community! Proceeds from the event will benefit A Child Is Missing.

Artwork displays will include a wide variety of unique and original artwork ranging from watercolor and oil on canvas, to photography and sculpture. The special featured artist is John Salko, “Man of Abstraction.” His colorful abstract paintings emerge with a willful presence and hypnotic strength that rivet the eye. Gallery artists include, Rob Robi, Jeff Shulman, Mike Turner, Bruce Yodanis, Ed Pang, Brooke Trace, Max Gold, Ashton Howard, Tripp Harrison, the art of John Lennon and others.

The silent auction will support A Child Is Missing through donations by our sponsors.
