New Auction Site Targets Webmasters

WebmasterAuction reaches out to webmasters trying to sell goods, and makes it easy and inexpensive for them to sell or trade.

Bristol, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) May 11, 2006 -- WebmasterAuction (WebmasterAuction.net) is a new auction site that offers a new service for internet auctions. This live auction site allows webmasters from around the world to bid on items in real time. Owner and operator Alex Rago describes what motivated him to launch the site, “One thing webmasters lacked were services which provided selling and buying options. I started WebmasterAuction to provide a place for webmasters to bid in real time,” Rago went on to explain, “Many webmasters object to paying large listing fees on other auction sites in addition to paying commissions to the site. I wanted to make it easy and inexpensive for webmasters to list their goods for sale.” This is why there are no listing fees at WebmasterAuction. Another feature on WebmasterAuction is the monthly voucher system commencing in June. “Everyone loves discounts, so I decided to release a voucher a month providing discounts to webmasters on add-on features to their listings.”

WebmasterAuction also offers item swapping. Instead of paying for an item, two webmasters can swap their goods. Rago explains why this is effective “Webmasters tend to love to trade their goods, so I wanted to offer this service,” explained Rago. Webmasters may also start their own stores on the site, which allows them to organize all of their items for sale in an easy to manage location. WebmasterAuction also has a “Want ad” feature, allowing buyers to make an offer on the site for an item they need. A seller then accepts the offer and they process the transaction.

At the time of this article WebmasterAuction was distributing 5USD sellers’ credit to anyone who signed up.
