Brides Gain Free Online Access to Professional Wedding Planner

New website allows you to email your wedding dilemma to a professional and get next-day answers posted in the form of a lesson for other brides to share.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 13, 2006 -- A wedding planner in Dallas, Texas has opened her doors to the online bridal community to provide direct access to her expertise. When a bride, groom, or other wedding party member emails the planner from the site, located at http://www.weddingsocieties.com, their question is turned into a wedding planner lesson and posted within 24 hours.

Tiffany Dow, the owner of the site, partnered with a professional wedding planner -- her best friend who happens to be in the business -- to offer this unique service to the online wedding community.

“Most sites just have message boards and articles,” says Dow. “We wanted to hear directly from the people and answer specific questions. For instance, we had a bride who didn’t know about the various choices she had to print her wedding invitations, so we created a lesson explaining the difference between thermography, lithography, embossing, etc.” The lesson can be found at http://www.weddingsocieties.com/weddinginvitationsprintingoptions.htm.

In the first two weeks of the launch, the site has received seven requests, which were immediately turned into a bridal lesson and linked within the site. In addition to the printing lesson, they include lessons on saving on your bridal apparel, picking the perfect honeymoon destination, why destination weddings are a good choice, things to consider when buying your dream dress, how to deal with opinionated friends and family, and why wedding favors are no longer one size fits all.

“We expect brides to take advantage of the site since it’s a free service,” states Dow. “Eventually, we may have all the bells and whistles The Knot and Wedding Channel have -- such as individual wedding pages for each bride, but we’ll never put annoying TV ads up on our site,” she promises.

Both The Wedding Channel and The Knot have taken shots recently for placing too many advertisements on their site, making the community hard to navigate and enjoy. Brides who are interested in accessing the free wedding planner lessons can visit the site at http://www.WeddingSocieties.com and email the owners through the Contact Us link at the top of any page.
