Local Gun Store Hosts Nationwide Concealed Carry Class

The Shootist Gun Store in Murrieta will host a Utah Concealed Carry Permit Class this month. Utah Certified Firearms Instructor William Desy said "Common, everyday citizens now have another option to protect themselves and their families while traveling. With only two State-issued Concealed Firearm Permits, any law abiding resident can now legally carry a concealed firearm for personal protection in 30 different states." This is great news for people that travel to any of the States honoring these permits.

Murrieta, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2006 -- The Shootist Gun Store in Murrieta will host a Utah Concealed Carry Permit Class this month.

Utah and Florida Non-Resident Concealed Firearm Permits are considered the most valuable Multi-State Concealed Carry Permits available. They provide Nationwide Concealed Carry, based on their recognition from over 30 different states. The entire process is very simple, can be handled through the mail, and is affordable to the average Joe. A Utah Concealed Firearm Permit is only $59.00 for a five year permit. Renewals are only $10.00 every five years. You must attend a State approved training course offered by a Utah Certified Concealed Firearms Instructor, usually three or more hours in length. The course covers basic firearm safety, weapon handling, concealment methods, firearms laws, and use of force laws.

With a Utah and Florida Concealed Firearm Permit, carrying a concealed and loaded firearm is legal in the following thirty States: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. Utah and Florida Concealed Carry permits are not valid for carrying in California.

For people that travel throughout the United States, these Permits offer a viable option for personal protection and family safety. Because Utah and Florida are "Shall Issue" States, either Permit is available to any Law-Abiding resident that takes the time to apply.
