Bullhorn's New Solutions Will Dramatically Decrease the Time to Source High Quality Candidates

Bullhorn, the global leader in On Demand staffing and recruiting software, today unveiled several innovations and outlined its plans to automate the sourcing of candidates as a core and innovative part of Bullhorn to extend the company’s leadership in the On Demand, integrated front office.

Through a combination of new solutions, codenamed Jobcast and Dragnet, and partnerships with CareerBuilder.com, Monster, SkillCheck and several other companies focused on sourcing and selection, Bullhorn will bring industry leading sourcing capabilities directly into Bullhorn through the most popular job boards, social networks, sourcing solutions and selection tools (see today’s related announcements on Bullhorn’s partnerships with CareerBuilder.com and Monster). Bullhorn will launch Jobcast and Dragnet in early Q3, 2006.

“Bullhorn’s history of innovation in creating the On Demand, integrated front office is now evolving toward providing the industry’s most complete sourcing solution where all candidate and job information will be seamlessly and automatically integrated with Bullhorn to dramatically decrease the time to source and place candidates,” said Arthur Papas, CEO and co-founder of Bullhorn. “For the first time, staffing and recruiting professionals will have complete visibility into candidates and jobs at anytime and from anyplace, regardless of their source, ensuring the highest quality and fastest placements.”

Sourcing with Speed, Flexibility and Simplicity

Bullhorn’s new sourcing capabilities, through Jobcast and Dragnet, will provide staffing and recruiting professionals with a great deal of speed, flexibility and simplicity by automating the posting of jobs and the searching of candidates between Bullhorn and job boards. Complementing Bullhorn’s existing job publishing solution with Datafrenzy, Jobcast will enable the real-time posting of jobs directly to job boards at the click of a mouse. Applicant responses will then be parsed and indexed by Bullhorn. Jobcast enables open job orders in Bullhorn to be automatically extended to any job board or site, creating a powerful way to open Bullhorn’s job management and sourcing capabilities across the Internet to wherever candidates live.

Dragnet also brings tremendous innovation to the sourcing of candidates by providing recruiters with the capability to create candidate search agents against open job orders in Bullhorn, selecting multiple job boards and sites to search and harvest resumes. Once a search is completed, Dragnet will automatically parse the highest ranked candidates into the Bullhorn database. Effectively, Dragnet will transform the sourcing of candidates from a laborious, single minded task into a highly automated process that allows the recruiter to focus on the quality and speed of making multiple placements.

Through the use of Jobcast and Dragnet, Bullhorn candidate records become “evergreen,” updated automatically as new information about the candidates becomes available on the job boards, social networks and other Internet sites. Bullhorn will be a recruiter’s single source for up-to-date information on candidates, aggregating information publicly available from the Web and internal notes, history and activity. Combined with Bullhorn’s industry leading customer relationship management capabilities, Bullhorn provides complete visibility into the sourcing of a candidate.

Continuing and Complete, Innovative Sourcing Solutions

Bullhorn intends to continually supply innovative sourcing solutions to all aspects of candidate sourcing and selection. In addition to supporting the most popular job boards, Bullhorn will also integrate with social networks as a way to further open sourcing within Bullhorn’s integrated front office.

The company is also announcing today a partnership with SkillCheck, a First Advantage Company, to provide recruiters instant access to scoring information for any job applicant who has taken a SkillCheck skills or behavioral assessment. The scoring information will appear immediately within candidate records within Bullhorn. Skills assessment, personality and cognitive assessment and background checking will all become solutions that are seamlessly integrated with Bullhorn to enhance its evergreen candidate capabilities. As a result, candidate profiles within Bullhorn will enable recruiters to present the highest quality candidates in the shortest amount of time to fill a job order.

“The confluence of the baby boomer demographic shift, strong worldwide economic growth and the disruption to traditional staffing models by globalization is creating an increased need for automation sourcing solutions within the staffing and recruiting industry,“ said Barry Asin, executive VP and chief analyst of Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. “Not surprisingly our research indicates that 95% of all staffing companies use online job boards to source active and passive candidates.”
