MothersClick.com plans to introduce new standards for converging on the Internet and will help moms leverage the collective wisdom of aggregated information-sharing.
"We're providing a simple, yet powerful infrastructure for moms to connect online and actively learn from each other," adds Davidson.
While much has been written about "Web 2.0," there's arguably no better market than mothers to benefit from some of the latest technologies available for communications and interaction. A few startups are approaching the parenting category from various angles, each one endeavoring to address certain family interests. But no one is focusing the attention just on moms.
MothersClick.com predicts a huge opportunity for their custom application and will create tangible value for users by giving them the tools to quickly, and easily, extend their community.
The company is currently making their free service available to mothers by invitation-only and limiting the total number of users in the system. Site development remains ongoing and new features will be added. A full public release is scheduled very soon.
