Team JamItUpYourPipe.com to Take Part in the Event Czeckwrecks - A Euro Banger Rally
In association with UnfinishedProject we've formed a team to raise money for our chosen charity, The Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group by taking part in the euro banger rally CzeckWrecks.
(PRWEB) May 14, 2006 -- Team JamitUpYourPipe.com are taking part in a rally event in September and in doing so trying to raise money for the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group . Myotonic dystrophy is the most common form of Muscular Dystrophy and affects members of my family and also about 1 in 8000 people in the UK but has not received the same level of support as many other genetic disorders. The effect on an individual can range from mild to severe with the most severe being the congenital form. For more information on the support group and what it does for those affected by the disorder, please visit their website (www.mdsguk.org[mdsguk]).
The rally the tam is taking part in is a Gumball 'style' rally with a big difference...All cars have to be worth LESS than £100 (£70 in my case) and the route is from home to Prague in the Czech Republic visiting 6 countries over 1500 miles in 4 days. To find out more about the event visit www.czechwrecks.com . The Team have 'sourced' a car which it is hoped will make it there, if not, it will be fun trying to.
So to the sponsorship...Basically the car is a 1987 Nissan Crummy, sorry Sunny with 90 odd thousand miles on the clock. The Team is called 'JamItUpYourPipe.com' and all information about the team and car can be found on the website:- www.JamItUpYourPipe.com . The team would like to raise the majority of sponsorship for the charity by selling Ad space on the car in return for a donation, this is an ideal way of raising company profiles AND supporting a good cause. The team hope to get some interest from the local papers and radio, added to which TopGear have taken great interest in the rally.
On top of raising money by selling ad space you can also give a donation in the normal way. Remember 1p per mile equates to a £15 donation, but all donations are accepted with many thanks.
