Utterback, known as her eBay username "howlin-moon-bakery" sells custom made, personalized cuddler dog beds she creates in her studio, as well as unique dog items including harnesses, clothing, collars, toys and treats. She has been selling on eBay for over five years.

This is the third year eBay has held the Best in Stores Contest. The Best Overall Success Story was a new category added for 2006. eBay called for store owners to enter in March and finalists were selected based upon creativity, use of best storefront practices, and presentation. Utterback began Howlin' Moon Bakery & Pet Beds over five years ago, shortly after the adoption of her first dog, Frank, a bulldog. She quickly realized a need for fresh dog treats and custom made, personalized dog beds. With the success of her treats and beds, she added other specialty dog products including stylish harness and clothing, dog themed greeting cards and designer collars.
"Being very disappointed in products offered at major retailers for my own dog, I looked to my own creativity and experience to start a unique online dog boutique offering a variety of high-quality items at reasonable prices," Utterback said. "With the help, support and love of family and friends, and using their dogs to assess products, I was able to turn my product designs, ideas and knowledge into a successful business."
