Podcasts

A front runner in the industry, the 100-room Bucuti Beach Resort has chartered new territory with their own podcast. The resort features podcast interviews with staff management on http://www.bucuti.com/en/about_us/podcast.php These interviews feature informal discussions with management about resort happenings and can be instantly played on any computer with speakers. “As Bucuti Beach Resort prides itself on delivering the ultimate in guest service, the podcast serves as a high-tech way for us to be high-touch, keeping in touch with our guests and to make introductions to potential guests,” states co-owner Susan Biemans.

Bucuti Wing Renovation

On the heels on the successful introduction of the Tara Beach Suites, Bucuti Beach Resort has nearly completed the Bucuti Wing Superior, Deluxe and Jr. Suite rooms. The renovation includes updating the guest rooms to create an unforgettable honeymoon experience combining the modern style of today with classic undertones. In addition, the Bucuti wing lobby and activities will also be updated with this contemporary style. The entire renovation is due to be complete at the end of July 2006.

Pirates Nest News

The Pirates Nest has undergone a “beach chic” refinement with stylish cushioned outdoor chairs and elegant table toppings. Natural woods and organic colors blend with the natural beach surroundings and the servers add to the ambiance with new, modern uniforms. In addition, the new chef, Bas de Boer, has been receiving rave reviews with a new menu for the Pirates Nest. Using very high quality products and subtle techniques, the Pirates Nest is specializes in fresh seafood and fine US beef. A signature item on the new menu is Captain Kidd’s Shrimp, extraordinarily large Jumbo Shrimp sautéed in a spicy chili sauce with chopped garlic and fresh herbs, flamed with Cognac and folded into fresh cream sauce.

Pool Renewal

Bucuti Beach Resort has announced plans to update the style and design of the pool. The new design will feature natural stone, lush landscaping and a partial wooden deck. The resort currently has this renewal scheduled for the third quarter of the year.

From design to delivery, Bucuti Beach Resort continues to stay ahead of trends and anticipate guest’s needs. The resort was the first on the island to feature king-sized oceanfront suites and now offers a Divine Dreams mattress in every room. Made for Bucuti Beach Resort by Simmons®, the Divine Dreams mattress is 12 inches thick, features 850 Pocketed Coil® springs and plush top layer offering a supple surface with firm support beneath.    Another significant amenity offered at Bucuti Beach Resort is advance check in via the Internet. Additionally, the resort features three webcams that broadcast live from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and a web cam zoom from 9:00 am to 9:15 am every morning where guests appear from all over the island to wave ‘live’ to family and friends while celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries and vacations. Bucuti’s webcam has also broadcast live weddings throughout the summer.
