Spirited Woman Circle Presents Author-Icon Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey in Rare Interview

Spirited Woman, a very inspired woman's community, wins kudos for the new Spirited Woman Circle, an "up close & personal” phone conversation series with famous women, including such celebrated guests as mega-author Janet Fitch (“White Oleander”), playwright/author Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey (“A Woman of Independent Means”), and author/actress Fannie Flagg (“Fried Green Tomatoes”).

Sparking national attention and growing interest, the new Spirited Woman Circle, an exclusive monthly 1-hour phone conversation series with famous women authors, actresses, radio personalities, top editors and more is proud to present guest, author/playwright/icon Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey on Tuesday, June 6, 10 am PST.

In 1978, at age 40, Hailey published her first novel, “A Woman of Independent Means,” which significantly re-defined the woman’s movement. Selling millions of copies, it became a TV miniseries starring Sally Field, and today tours as a one-woman play.

Hailey has never done a teleseminar before and she rarely does interviews. In her revealing 1-hour conversation, she will talk about mega fame at 40, her varied writing career, from newspaper reporter to soap opera consultant, the importance of journaling in her life, and her new role as community activist. Call participants are welcome to ask questions and chat with each guest.

Nancy Mills, a writer and workshop leader, founded Spirited Woman in 2002, and is known as the Creator of the Spirited Woman Approach to Life. She moderates the calls and interviews each guest.

Mills says enthusiastically, “The famous women in our Circle, collectively have sold more than five million books, had several made into hit movies, and none of them has ever done a teleseminar before,” says Mills. “We are so very excited about this new series.”
