Victory for Long Island Exchange at The Best on Long Island BOLI Awards 2006
Long Island Exchange awarded a bronze and silver certificate of excellence for "Internet, News, Media and Publications," as well as "Internet Independent" in the 2006 BOLI awards.
(PRWEB) May 17, 2006 -- Long Island Exchange was awarded a silver and bronze certificate of excellence in last week's 2006 BOLI awards on Long Island for its http://www.longislandexchange.com Web site. This was the company's first year entering the competition and took a silver certificate for "Internet, News, Media and Publications" also taking home a Bronze certificate in "Internet Independant."
"This is our first year competing in the competition and we look forward to many more to come. The turn out was fantastic and we are just starting to get our feet wet with Long Island Exchange. Each year the Long Island Advertising Club (http://www.liac.org), located in Port Washington Long Island, holds the annual BOLI Awards, founding in 1973, which have become one of the most prestigious business competitions in the major metropolitan New York region. Best of Category statues as well as Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates of Excellence presently reside in 31 states and three foreign countries.
The winners of the 33rd annual BOLI awards were announced on May 9th at The Inn at East Wind in Wading River.
"There's been a tremendous amount of really exceptional work in the newer categories - all the Internet-related categories, Web sites, rich media, e-commerce," said Mark Preiser, senior vice president at Walter F. Cameron Advertising Inc. in Hauppauge and president of the ad club.
