Lead Plaintiff in Halliburton Securities Case Names Special Counsel
Founder of Truth in Corporate Justice LLC requested to continue on case.

Mr. Rothstein with full support of the firm took this leave from Scott + Scott, LLC; he no longer is a partner. Neil assumed the same role as Special Counsel on behalf of AMS in the Enron securities litigation, where AMS is the Representative Plaintiff for the debt bondholders and where AMS has taken an active role at the request of the Lead Plaintiff.
Recently, Halliburton and certain individual defendants filed a Motion to Dismiss, a major part of which was denied by the Court. This is a remarkable case, as the AMS Fund blocked a previously announced $6 million settlement and had the other lead attorneys and plaintiffs removed from their leadership positions (some withdrew voluntarily prior to their potential dismissal).
