Washington, D.C.'s #1 Radio DJ and the World's Biggest 'Idiot' Take on Book Expo America 2006 with 'Hot' New Title

Hot 99..5 morning radio host Mark Kaye, author of "Eddie the Idiot," re-writes the concept of Self-Help with his 96 page illustrated short story for adults.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 20, 2006 -- Mark Kaye, Host of the #1 Rated "Hot Morning Mess" on Washington, DC radio station HOT 99.5 will be at Book Expo America with his first book titled Eddie the Idiot: The Smartest Things I Ever Learned From the Dumbest Man I Ever Knew! It's the story of a "not so smart" gas station attendant who falls in love with a luxury sports car and decides to rob a liquor store to pay for it. Mark Kaye injects "Five Important Life Lessons" into the tale, as well as the following special "treats" for the reader:

1) IT'S SHORT:"96 pages total!" beams Kaye proudly. "One of my good friends finished the book while waiting at red lights on the way home from work."

2) IT'S ILLUSTRATED: "Just like the books we loved when we were kids. Why should kids get all the fun?" adds Kaye.

3) IT RHYMES: "It's easier to remember really important things if they rhyme. For example, 'Lefty loosey, righty tighty,' or 'Beer before liquor, never sicker, liquor before beer, you're in the clear.' I can't tell you how many times THAT one saved me!" says Kaye.

The book has already become a local hit thanks to Mark Kaye's daily radio audience of over 1 million listeners in Washington, DC and Baltimore. Also, Kaye has recently begun a string of in-store book signings around the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

This Friday (5/19) and Saturday (5/20), Mark Kaye takes Eddie the Idiot to Book Expo America at the Washington, DC Convention Center with one goal in mind: "Sell Eddie the Idiot (and my next three titles) to a major publisher. I'll do whatever it takes," exclaims Kaye. "This motivational book fits into your pocket as well as your busy schedule. I'm going to shake hands, talk to people, show them the book. I'm even giving away free gas. That should get some attention!"
