Xirrus Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Quality Management

Westlake Village Wi Fi Equipment and Voice over WLAN Solution Provider Achieves Standards Certification on First Attempt.

Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) May 19, 2006 -- Xirrus, Inc., the provider of innovative wireless LAN architecture and the most powerful wireless LANs and VoWLAN solutions for enterprise and campus environments and winner of ‘Best Startup’ at Networld+Interop 2005, today announced it has attained ISO 9001:2000 certification for the quality management systems in use at its facilities in Westlake Village, California. TUV Rheinland, an internationally recognized registrar, awarded the certification based on intensive reviews of Xirrus’ engineering, operations and customer support services.

"Xirrus achieved its ISO certification on the first attempt underscoring our dedication to quality processes," said Pete Patel, vice president of Operations at Xirrus. "The ISO certification and the drive to total customer satisfaction correctly positions Xirrus to support its growing OEM and branded customer base."

The ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard is part of the ISO 9000 and 14000 standards families--among the best-known and most successful standards ever. ISO 9001:2000 has become an internationally-recognized reference for ensuring the highest possible quality in business-to-business dealings.

"The driving force behind our quality assurance program is to better serve our customers," added Patel. "ISO certification provides independent validation, so that our customers are further assured they will continue to receive the highest possible quality from Xirrus."
