Tasty "Cake" - Indie Food Channel Launches Music Video from Charity and the JAMband

On May 24th, the Indie Food Channel™ presents a brand-new music video called “Cake” set to a catchy original song by Parents’ Choice Gold award-winning band Charity and the JAMband. This three minute retro-fun music video, filled with happy images of moms and kids mixing, baking, and enjoying birthday cakes, will launch on the The Indie Food Channel™ website, http://www.indiefoodchannel.com.

How do you make a birthday cake from scratch? It helps to have a great sing-along song to make the process fun. On May 24th, the Indie Food Channel™ presents a brand-new music video called “Cake” set to a catchy original song by Parents’ Choice Gold award-winning band Charity and the JAMband.

The Indie Food Channel™ has developed and licensed a number of fun and fascinating food, wine and lifestyle related programs, including several that originally were created for cable television, mobile phones and video podcasts. It is currently finalizing a number of partnerships with food, appliance and beverage companies, including with chocolate producers for its “Chocolate Television” program. The “Cake” music video was created by an internal team at Indie Food Channel, lead by young director Sean Oughton.

JAMband leader Charity Kahn is a mathematician, musician and mother of two young children. She has published a book on the connections between math and music. Her music-activity JAM classes in San Francisco are popular with parents, caregivers and kids. Kahn strives to spread joy, connection and family fun through song, dance and silliness. The "Cake" song is featured on the band’s new CD, “Rock Your Socks Off," which is winning critical acclaim and a Parents’ Choice Gold award.
