Wine Expert Joins Beyond Wonderful's Panel of Culinary Connoisseurs

Wine expert Michael De Loach joins a panel of culinary professionals on Beyond Wonderful, an ever-growing web site of classic and seasonal recipes, how-to cooking techniques, features and expert advice.

Culinary expert Barbara Adams announced today that Michael De Loach, principle of Hook and Ladder Winery, will join the panel of contributing culinary experts for Beyond Wonderful (

Beyond Wonderful represents a dedicated team of food and wine experts, writers, photographers, graphic artists and editors--all united in their passion for fabulous cuisine.

De Loach grew up in the wine business, working in the vineyard at age 11 and in the cellar at age 15. He later served as vice president of sales and marketing for the family's De Loach Vineyards in Sonoma County.

De Loach travels the country as a speaker and appears frequently on television. He has been featured in countless national publications including Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle and Wine Spectator. He is the host of "Wine Country Live," a nationally syndicated radio show.

In his current column, "Wine Tasting Season Survival Techniques," De Loach shares suggestions on getting the most out of the wine tasting experience, including tips on how wine pros prevent "palate fatigue."
