Nashua, NH (PRWEB) May 23, 2006 -–
DiagnosisONE today announced the launch of the industry’s most sophisticated Clinical Decision Support (CDS) product (D1.Pathway) at the TEPR conference. D1.Pathway is the only CDS product available today that can ensure that EMR/EHR vendors will meet all of the CCHIT CDS certification requirements through 2008.
Capable of delivering TrueCDS, D1.Pathway is a HL7 based web service that can deliver patient and encounter specific alerts and guidelines to EMR systems, provider portals or even to faxes and phones.
TrueCDS is distinguished from traditional CDS in that it truly integrates knowledge across the silos of medicine. DiagnosisONE’s D1.Pathway product uses a natural language rules engine to deliver 10000’s of rules that encompass:
- Diagnostic Testing (including lab and radiology)
- Acute and Chronic Care
“DiagnosisONE is very proud to be launching this product in this cutting edge field. Over the last half a decade we have been working on technologies that can revolutionize the delivery of healthcare. Our analysis has shown that care improvements delivered by our CDS technology are capable of saving over $100/consumer/year, when deployed widely,” said Dr. Mansoor Khan, CEO of DiagnosisONE.
D1.Pathway is the only CDS product available today that can help care providers address all of the major clinical workflows including:
- Point of Care
- Periodic Care Analysis and
- Pay for Performance.
Of particular interest to EMR vendors is the fact D1.Pathway is the only CDS product available today that meets all of the CDS related requirements in the CCHIT Certification process that EMR vendors will be going thru starting in 2006. EMR/EHR vendors can use this web service to meet all of the CDS requirements (through 2008) at a fraction of the cost and time it would take to develop these capabilities in house.
Partners HealthCare is the launch customer for this product.
