Monroe “Roey” M. Diefendorf, a nationally known financial advisor has taken wealth management to a new level. He discusses how wealth is more than money in his most recent book “3 Dimensional Wealth: A Radically Sane Approach on Wealth Management.” He advocates looking beyond the obvious (1-dimensional) definition of wealth. He redefines wealth to include not only one’s tangible assets (financial wealth) but their intangible assets (personal and social wealth).
Debbie Tinkler, Executive Director of AiP remarked “the C3DWP is precisely the kind of advisor that we are looking for to become an active member in our association. Their broad understanding of wealth, which includes philanthropy, is not only one we concur with but also seek propagating among advisors.”
3 Dimensional Wealth International provides financial advisors with on-line / on-demand educational curriculum that adds a new level of psychological counseling to the traditional financial education programs that exist today. Courses include a “core course,” seven Series 200 level courses entitled, “Counseling Through Life’s Transitions” and seven Series 300 courses entitles, “Practice Enhancements.” Successful completion of a total of seven courses will lead to the attainment of the professional designation of “Certified 3 Dimensional Wealth Practitioner” – C3DPW®.
To encourage advisors to not only learn but put philanthropy into their practices, a free one year membership will be provided for all who attain the 3 Dimensional Wealth designation. Diefendorf believes that “a new dawn is coming for philanthropic planning. If an advisor ignores the role philanthropy plays in the wealth management process, they severely handicap the successful outcome of creating healthy families and successful legacy plans that truly last.”
