MarketingSherpa, a research firm publishing Case Studies and benchmark data for marketers, announced today that Web analytics vendors are named for 498 Web sites in the new 'Buyer's Guide to Web Analytics 2006'. A complete list of the 498 companies with named vendors is at:
The 498 Web sites naming Web analytics software packages they use include e-commerce sites such as 1800Flowers, JCrew, and JetBlue Airways. Publishers Knight Ridder Digital, Reuters, and Financial Times name their sites' Web analytics vendors. Technology companies' Web analytics suppliers are also revealed, including which software packages are used by Microsoft, Agilent Technologies, Lockheed Martion, HP, and Intuit.
"We started the Client Name Index as a service to marketers who are actively shopping for a new analytics vendor," MarketingSherpa President Anne Holland explains. "You can use it to see who is using whom, and perhaps even contact your peers directly for feedback on a particular vendor before you take the plunge to switch vendors yourself."
In addition to the Client Name Index, MarketingSherpa's new Buyer's Guide features easy-scan comparison charts for 39 Web analytics packages, including Google Analytics, Omniture’s SiteCatalyst and WebSideStory’s HBX On-Demand Web Analytics.
Each week 173,000 marketing professionals read MarketingSherpa's latest Case Studies and researched reports. The firm also publishes the following Buyer's Guides:
Buyer's Guide to Search Engine Optimization Firms
Buyer's Guide to Email Service Providers
Buyer's Guide to Independent Email Audit Services
