Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) May 24, 2006 -- U.S. Beer Drinking Team Reminds You To Raise The Beer Flag, Salute the Troops And Celebrate With Beer This Memorial Day
“At 8 p.m. eastern time (00:00 GMT) this Memorial Day we want all 90 million American beer drinkers to raise the beer flag and hoist their beer in the air and give a loud salute ‘to the troops,’” stated Captain of the U.S. Beer Drinking Team, U.S. Navy veteran, Dennis Buettner, “No other drink brings people together in the spirit of American patriotism. Beer is a big part of the military and will always be the drink of choice for American soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. Nothing could bring greater honor to the memory of our fallen heroes than this simple salute as we remember their ultimate sacrifice on this solemn day.”
“The first military force created to defend the our newly formed country; the United States Marines was started in Philadelphia’s Tun Tavern over tall mugs of beer. Some people say that beer is the second fuel of the military. American service members around the world work tirelessly day and night to protect us and our way of life,” stated Chicago Bill Krejci, Coach of the USBDT “They put their lives on the line each and every day. The very least we can do is buy them a beer and say thanks. This year and every year on Memorial Day, raise the beer flag, lift your mugs and give thanks to the men and women of the United States military.”
