St. Louis Native Premieres Second Film
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) May 25, 2006 -- St. Louis native David Martyn Conley is showcasing his second film, Tapestry of Shadows, May 26th and 27th at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in St. Louis.
The film, shot entirely in and around St. Louis with a local cast and crew, first debuted twelve years ago as a stage play at David's alma mater, Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. The film was recently screened at both Lincoln and for invited clergy in St. Louis.
Tapestry of Shadows is the story of Vincent Purejoy, a preacher who is motivated to try and reclaim his inner city neighborhood from the thugs and drug dealers who have overrun it, and the sacrifices his wife and congregation must make along the way.
But Tapestry of Shadows has a deeper message that goes beyond the barriers of race, religion and age. It is a universal story of sacrifice, loss and love. It's about choosing between vengeance and virtue, about tragedy and triumph. Tapestry of Shadows is about choices.
Currently, Mr. Conley is in pre-production on three other motion pictures.
