Photographer Launches "Delicious" New Web Site and Podcast

Photographer and digital imaging consultant Andrew Darlow today announced his new website and podcast, The Imaging Buffet (www.imagingbuffet.com). The site contains imaging tips, interviews, and product reviews catering to professional and amateur photographers.

Piscataway, NJ (PRWEB) May 26, 2006 -- Photographer and digital imaging consultant Andrew Darlow today announced his new website and podcast, The Imaging Buffet (www.imagingbuffet.com). The site contains imaging tips, interviews, and product reviews catering to professional and amateur photographers.

Every month, a new online and audio edition will be published and additional feature stories and interviews will be added throughout the month. The Imaging Buffet will follow a menu-like approach, with an appetizer, various courses, dessert, tip (imaging tip, that is) and occasionally some after dinner music. The May issue features two audio interviews–the first with Harald Johnson, author of the book Mastering Digital Printing: Second Edition and the second with the founder of the Photoshop Soup2Nuts Conference, Ruth Knoll. A tip describing how to use Apple Computer’s iTunes software to search for and subscribe to podcasts more efficiently follows the interviews.

Said Darlow, “The Imaging Buffet is a project I’ve been dreaming of for a long time. Sharing my thoughts, experiences and opinions about some of the many products and services available to photographers, and having the opportunity to interview many of the authors and artists I respect, is a true privilege.”

A recurring guest on The Imaging Buffet is Queen B, Darlow’s college sweetheart and wife. She brings her love of movies and television to the site and podcast, mixing it with a touch of flavor in short interview segments entitled “Queen B’s TV and Movie Reviews-–with Food References.”

Overview

Andrew Darlow is a photographer, educator and digital imaging consultant based in Piscataway, New Jersey. For over 15 years, he has consulted on the topics of digital output and color management for internationally acclaimed photographers and corporations such as Tiffany & Co and his commercial clients have included Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, Tourneau watches, Cigar Aficionado and The Body Shop. He most recently served for two years as Editorial Director of Digital Imaging Techniques magazine, where he wrote numerous articles and reviews on the topics of digital and fine-art photography, inkjet printing, and Photoshop techniques. He has conducted seminars across the United States at photo-related conferences, for professional photography organizations and at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. His photography has been widely exhibited in group and solo shows around the world, and his work has been included in many imaging and photography publications. Darlow also publishes the Inkjet & Imaging Tips Newsletter, available free to subscribers on his website.
