Peace River Books of Grand Rapids, Minnesota introduces adventure writer Ron Shepherd to readers of great adventure stories. He writes of his own adventures and of the many places he has seen and lived during his lifetime.

He started writing his own daily journal just after World War II and has continued journaling to this day. Now he writes of the great adventures he has seen and of historical figures he has known.
His latest release is “To Waltz With A White Horse,” a story of how one man went on an Alaska canoe trip, just to see what he was made of. This is a grand story of how we wish our lives could be, if we just had the guts to do it.
