Saturn SKY Charity Auction on June 3rd with a Starting Bid of Just $5,000
Saturn of West County and Saturn of South County will each be auctioning off a Saturn SKY to benefit the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition on June 3rd.
St. Louis, Miss. (PRWEB) May 25, 2006 -- In honor of May being National Foster Care Month, Saturn of South County and Saturn of West County announced today that they are teaming up with the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition to conduct live auctions of the brand new Saturn SKY convertible.
Saturn's new, two-seater roadster called the SKY is a limited production vehicle with retailers nationwide only getting one or two a month. With a MSRP of a fully equipped SKY under $27,000, many Saturn stores have waiting lists of 50 to 100 people.
Saturn of West County and Saturn of South County decided the fairest way to sell their highly sought after roadsters would be to auction them off with any amount over the MSRP going directly to the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition. (The winning bidder will get any tax deduction.) By auctioning off the vehicles the Jim Butler Saturn stores hope to raise money for the over 1000 foster and adoptive children waiting for homes, while simultaneously helping a few lucky bidders who have been waiting to get a SKY.
