Henderson, Nevada Elementary School Student Wins Grand Prize in Healthy Kids Contest

Henderson, Nevada elementary school student Wyatt Schilling was recently honored by Juicy Juice and Scholastic in their Healthy Kids Day Contest. Representing Warren-Walker Green Valley Academy of Henderson, Nevada, Wyatt Schilling, a first grader, is one of 700 children nationwide who entered the Healthy Kids Day Contest sponsored by Juicy Juice and Scholastic. These Kindergarten and First Grade students tracked the healthy foods that they ate over the course of one day in a food journal.

Wyatt was one of 10 students to win the grand prize which included a trip for four to Healthy Kids Day in New York City, complete with a day at Scholastic Headquarters, $500 in spending money, and $500 savings plan. Wyatt also appeared on the Today Show and The Tony Danza Show on Friday, March 24.
