StoryGuide New Player in Caring For Chronic Pain

StoryGuide Enterprises is a company that sells products for gentle relief to those who live in chronic pain. From Baby Boomers facing life's inevitable wear and tear, to accident victims awakening every morning to yet another day of wearying, mind-numbing, pill-popping prayers for relief, Good Life With StoryGuide offers hope.

Ambridge,PA (PRWEB) May 27, 2006 -- John Tuft, CEO of StoryGuide Enterprises, Inc., announced their new collection of products and aids for comfort and help for those who live in chronic pain called, “GOOD LIFE WITH STORYGUIDE,” now being marketed on their new website, http://www.goodlifewithstoryguide.com.

The concept of the site is the brainchild of Barbara Tuft, President, and visionaryfor gathering the products from different companies into one place for the ease of chronic pain sufferers. She is an advocate for offering ways for those in pain methods that complement pain drugs and focusing on all aspects of patients lives to help them still feel able to enjoy the everyday joys, be able to be more relaxed, sleep better, and experience less stress.

The website is divided into different product categories, some non-traditional. Mrs. Tuft said, “One key purpose of the site is to help patients learn to let their bodies fight pain naturally; to relax and let the endorphins produced in the brain do their job.” The site lists product categories for aromatherapy, home surroundings, light therapy, magnetic therapy, massage chairs, music, relaxation, stress relief, walkers, books. “Customers can make their own choices about dealing with their pain. Having a feeling of being in control is very important” added Tuft.

Both principals of the company speak from first hand experience. Barbara suffers with fibromyalgia. While dealing with her own battles, she has also, until recently, been the only breadwinner in the family. As the result of two car accidents, John has had five back surgeries, both knees operated on, and after one of his surgeries a bone chip was left in and became lodged against a nerve root in his lower back. As a result of all the steroid therapy his surgeon had used, an infection developed in his disc space. He now lives with degenerative disc disease that is demolishing his spine in tandem with the arthritis caused by all the trauma. In addition, he developed what one doctor told him was, “the worst case of myofascia syndrome” he had ever seen.

John lives in constant pain yet he has become a writer. Three of his books, including Tell Me Where It Hurts, are included on the site. Between he and his wife, also, both share the desire to grow the website into one with strong sales and a strong sense of community as customers come to know the Tufts share with so many others the struggles and needs to still live “the good life” despite the pain.
