Taste of Crete Participating in America Heart Association Fundraiser - “Chefs with Heart”

Taste of Crete, a gourmet food company that focuses on the healthy foods of Greece will be participating in “Chefs with Heart,” a fundraiser for the American Heart Association at Jasna Polana Country Club in Princeton, New Jersey

(PRWEB) May 27, 2006 --Chefs with Heart: A Food & Wine Experience is being held on Thursday, June 1st at Jasna Polana Country Club in Princeton, New Jersey. The culinary event’s purpose is to raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association. Attendees will enjoy an array of culinary delights from some of the area’s premier restaurants.

Taste of Crete, a local Bridgewater gourmet food company, will be one of the participants for the fundraiser. Their marquee product is an award winning extra virgin olive oil from Crete, Greece. It just won gold in the International Olive Oils of the World competition. Their healthy cookies will be served, Evangelia’s Traditional Greek Cookies, which are made without eggs or butter, so they have no Trans Fats and no cholesterol. Guests will also be able to enjoy their Greek honeys and luscious dark chocolate truffles.
