New Video Clip of Pacific Northwest Native American Indian Art Carvings

Online Native American art website uses new multimedia to display collection of artwork.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada (PRWEB) May 29, 2006 -- Free Spirit Gallery, a Montreal based online art gallery specializing in Pacific Northwest Native American Indian art, is now using new multimedia internet technology to display a collection of artwork. Using a digital camcorder and Windows Movie Maker software, a three minute and twenty second video was produced featuring eight authentic Northwest Native Indian carvings by four master carvers from BC, Canada. The video even has an original music soundtrack featuring a single flute and the sounds of crashing Pacific Ocean waves in the background.

The video is available for viewing on Google’s new video site as well as on IFILM and YouTube, two other popular video websites on the internet. However, fans of Native American art or even those who are just simply curious can also view this video directly from the Free Spirit Gallery website as a special webpage was set up for the project. There are links to this video page from several of the website’s other pages including the home page.

Clint Leung, who created Free Spirit Gallery in 2004 says, “Northwest Native Indian art is still relatively regionalized in exposure and this video will definitely help show the world what this type of art is all about. Still pictures are great but seeing the artwork on video is even better.”
