eMail Our Military Teams Up with Comedian, Dan Smith, to Boost Troops Morale
Teaming Up with Comedian, Dan Smith, is just one of the many ways eMail Our Military is working to boost the troops morale.
Miami, FL (PRWEB) May 29, 2006 -- Teaming Up with Comedian, Dan Smith, is just one of the many ways eMail Our Military is working to boost the troops morale.
eMail Our Military, an organization dedicated to providing encouragement, motivation and morale support to service members, is always looking for creative ways to boost the morale of our troops serving at home and abroad.
Typical care packages include enough motivational mail to supply an entire unit along with other goodies like music CDs, DVDs, Patriotic Beanie Bears and tasty goodies. Now, they'll be including Dan Smith's latest comedy album, "Speak When Spoken To" along with autographed photos dedicated to the troops that say "Thank you for keeping us safe".
"When we approached Dan about this project he didn't hesitate, he jumped onboard." said eMOM's Public Affairs Officer. "Since my Dad, Uncle, both of my Grandfathers, and three great Uncles were in the US military, I feel like its the least I can do." Dan said.
Not only is Dan hilariously funny he's passionate about showing his support. He's already performed in 13 tours supporting the troops and this September & October he'll be going overseas again to do shows for our troops in Afghanistan, Germany and Saudi Arabia.

eMail Our Military (eMOM) was created as a response to the DoD's cancellation of the "Any Service Member" and "Operation Dear Abby" mail programs in 2001, with the mission to provide encouragement, motivation and morale support to the men and women serving in our military by sending eMail, correspondence and care packages. Website visitors can join, participation is free, and take part in a number of support projects ranging from sending eMail on a one-on-one basis with a service member to year round support projects.
