Calgary, AB (PRWEB) June 15, 2006 -- For the second time in as many years, Stor edge self storage, a well known provider of self storage solutions, has received the Calgary Consumer’s Choice Award for Business Excellence in 2006.
“None of this would have been possible without the support and contribution of our outstanding staff, strategic partners, contractors and suppliers,’ stated Stor edge President Archie Roberts in response to the honor. “Stor edge has achieved many successes in its short history. We have successfully opened our 5th store and have won this award again is just terrific!”
The award comes on the heels of what has been a tremendously successful year for Stor edge. “2005 was really a year of strong growth for the company,’ explains Roberts, ‘the real estate and job markets in Calgary have been experiencing phenomenal gains, and that has translated directly into our bottom line, allowing us to pursue further developments which will benefit our customers in the Calgary area as well as those across western Canada.”
Stor edge already has storage locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and will soon be expanding into BC as part of their “Canadian Expansion Plan” which will show the company spreading to over 25 locations in Canada over the next 4 years. To this point, land and/or facilities have been acquired for storage locations in Calgary (3), Saskatoon, Regina (2), Lethbridge, Sherwood Park, Windermere, Fort Saskatchewan, Vancouver Island and the lower Main Land.
The most recent addition has been the acquisition of Inglewood Self Storage (ISS) in Calgary. Stor edge has acquired the operations, storage units and other assets and customers of the business, which will now operate under the name of Stor edge self storage (Inglewood) Ltd.
