The Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association’s annual Baby Safety Month promotes the proper selection and use of baby products.

Swaddleaze, the unique two-in-one wearable baby swaddler and sleep sack from 2 Virtues (http://www.2virtues.com), leads the industry in “sleep safety” for babies. It is an ideal product to showcase during the Juvenile Manufacturers Association’s (JPMA) annual Baby Safety Month this September. Swaddleaze’s patented design ensures an easier sleep for parents and their babies, while helping to soothe colic and reduce the risk of SIDs. It has won prestigious awards from iParenting Media and The Family Review Center.

For twenty-two years, the JPMA (http://www.jpma.org) has been designating a month-long campaign to increase consumer awareness for the safe selection and use of baby products. Swaddleaze designer and 2 Virtues President, Heather Allard, is a member of the JPMA. She says, “For a parent, there is nothing more important than the safety of their child. We took great care in designing a product that put safety first and are very pleased that Swaddleaze has been so well received by industry experts and parents nationwide.”

According to The SIDS Alliance, wearable blankets in the crib are a safer alternative to loose blankets. Offering warmth without worry, Swaddleaze’s special patented design swaddles babies quickly and easily. It is the only product on the market that fastens in the back. This ensures that babies cannot pull Swaddleaze off or over their heads, and they cannot be scratched by Velcro or other fasteners.

Swaddleaze also showed its star power this year by being specially chosen for the pre-Oscar Beverly Hills gifting event, The Boom Boom Room. There, Melissa Joan Hart, Angela Bassett, Carrie Ann Inaba and more were among the new Swaddleaze converts. It has also been “gifted” to Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie and Brooke Shields.

On the publishing front, “Savvy Mommy” author Victoria Pericon (http://www.savvymommy.com) features Heather Allard and Swaddleaze in her latest book “Cool Mom Inventions: Secrets of 76 Successful Mommy Inventors.”

Swaddleaze’s plush and cozy fabrics come in a variety of pleasing colors and are machine washable and dryable. They also zip up the front for easy diaper changes. A new cotton terry cloth version will be available July 2006. All sell for the low price of $25.00. Swaddleaze is sold at over 75 US retailers and in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South America, Finland, Ireland and England.
