In six months, Zionsville Candle Company is growing at exponential rates.

"Simply crazy," exclaims Zionsville Candle Company's co-founder Marnie Anderson. "We had no idea it would go this well!" Since starting Zionsville Candle Company with her husband and business partner Chris Anderson, the Anderson's have been busy. Very busy. "We've been partnering with retail establishments all over the country, and are now dealing with a familiar beast- production issues."

Marnie and Chris Anderson are veterans to national demand upon founding ESC Promotions, Inc. in 1993. After successfuly starting ESC (a national school fundraising business recently sold to Wolfe Diversified Industries in April of last year (, they have recently set their sites on the fast emerging soy-candle market. "Now we're having a blast offering a healthier life-style candle that consumers are quickly learning about," offers Chris.

"We are lucky to have the experience of producing hundreds of thousands of units for quick distribution." In fact, the Andersons had to learn to satisfy demand when called upon to deliver millions of fundraising discount "Power Cards" in only a short window. "We were faced with demand from seven states to produce hundreds of thousands of short-order discount cards in a very fast fashion. We had to learn our production curves, learn the production methods, and sell our major distributor, Datacard, on selling us high-tech, security type credit-card equipment for all our high schools."

Fast-forward to today, as the Andersons are faced with producing thousands of soy-candles for their retail partners. "Same issues, different product. A product we're so excited about, we can't wait to wake-up each day. Our retail partners are selling-out of our wick-certificate oriented candles in as few as ten days." describes Chris.

Each Zionsville Candle has a story- a very unique story- that explains the origin of each candle. "Our writers and I really enjoy making candles that appeal to your olfactory- that (we hope) will take you to a very special memory. Our stories are from the heart, and are listed on the candles. We've had clients come in and either laugh (or cry) from our stories. For example, it's 'Mom's Lilac Bush,' that describes my Mom's Lilac Bushes she planted to erase the baseball diamond in her backyard, or 'Road To Hana' that takes you through Paia, past Anthony's Coffee Shop to the REAL paradise on earth!"

Zionsville Candle Company is relocating its corporate office to 11644 North Michigan Road in Zionsville, Indiana, just north of 116th and Michigan Road. "This will serve as our customer service and marketing hub, as we explore production facilities in Whitestown, Anderson, and Lebanon, Indiana," explains Marnie Anderson.
