Coughlin, President and Chief Executive Officer, AT&T Midwest will give the keynote speech at the Executive Symposium for Women Business Leaders on June 23 at Spiaggia Private Dining Rooms in Chicago. The event will be co-hosted by P&L Group, Boardroom Bound® and Diversity Pipeline Alliance®.
The symposium will draw corporate and non-profit executives committed to advancing women and other diverse leaders into top executive roles, including paid corporate board service. Nearly 55 percent of participants are vice president level or above and 70 percent are director level or above. One-third of all participants will be representing Fortune 500 companies.
Speakers will talk about how mentoring and their experiences outside of work helped shape their leadership skills and successful career path. They will share personal career stories and practical tips and be open to a Q&A with the audience.
As President and CEO of AT&T Midwest, Ms. Coughlin recently celebrated her 26th anniversary with the company and is responsible for the leadership of more than 32,000 employees delivering AT&T products and services throughout Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. Previously serving as president of SBC Midwest Business Communication Services, Ms. Coughlin was responsible for a multi-billion dollar portfolio with nearly 500,000 customers and more than 3,500 employees.
