Rockk Video Productions Picked to Produce Congressional Campaign TV Ads

Rockk Video Productions was picked by the Pete McCloskey for Congress campaign to produce, shoot and edit all the TV commercials for the 11th Congressional District primary campaign of Pete McCloskey. Mr. McCloskey is a former 15-year veteran of Congress who came out of retirement to run against Republican incumbent Richard Pombo in California’s 11th Congressional district.

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) June 3, 2006 -- Rockk Video Productions was picked by the Pete McCloskey for Congress campaign to produce, shoot and edit all the TV commercials for the 11th Congressional District primary campaign of Pete McCloskey. Mr. McCloskey is a former 15-year veteran of Congress who came out of retirement to run against Republican incumbent Richard Pombo in California’s 11th Congressional district.

This TV commercial project meant compiling information, planning and producing a series of 10 spots in a short six-week time frame for this election to be held on June 6th 2006.

Working with McCloskey staff producer John McManus Rockk Video’s senior staff producer/DP Kevin Rockwell created the ten spots utilizing five shooting days in the field (shot on Beta SP with an Ikegami HLV55), eight editing days on the NLE (non linear editing) system, and a few long nights of planning in between.

“This was not a big budget campaign so we had to work on a tight schedule, utilize our time efficiently, and get the job done quickly so that ads could be run in the market where the election is taking place. It was good teamwork on all sides that got the job done.” Says Rockk Video’s Kevin Rockwell.

According to Mr. McManus all of the campaigns objectives for TV ads were met and done on time. That meant maximum exposure for the McCloskey campaign message through TV ads in the month prior to the primary election.

“I think Kevin’s background in TV journalism allowed him to draw on the experience of working with tight deadlines and short schedules in order to do quality work for us,” added Mr. McManus.
