The new owner of Headlines by Pantana in Northvale, NJ hosts a cut-a-thon in memory of Jim DeCicco, a childhood friend & neighbor in Northvale, NJ.

Northvale, NJ (PRWEB) June 3, 2006 -- In a community that is just one square mile, and good friends, generations of families and all news is local news, it is no surprise that when tragedy occurs many are moved to action.

Sharon Flesche, new owner of Headlines by Pantana, invites you to a fundraising Cut-A-Thon, Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 9am - 6pm in memory of Jim DeCicco. "Jim grew up in Northvale and we were neighborhood friends. Jim died suddenly on February 14, 2006 leaving behind a wife and 4 year old daughter. The Cut-A-Thon is a way to bring the community together to satisfy a need to help in some way," notes Sharon.     All haircuts are $ 20, Gracie the Clown will entertain while you wait between 9:30-11:30 am and you can dabble in paints for $15 with Arts "N" Crafts by Norma next door. All proceeds to benefit Jim's family. The management and staff at Headlines hopes this fundraiser will aid the family in what is certainly one of life's most difficult transitions.
