DivaVillage.com Launches a New Homepage for the “Forever 21” Woman

The online fashion magazine, www.divavillage.com, has a new look that will appeal to women of all ages and allow for more empowering content.

Orange, CA (PRWEB) June 4, 2006 -- DivaVillage.com strives to deliver the hottest trends, online boutiques, entertainment news, fitness ideas, and empowering thoughts to its readers. In a celebrity-crazed world, DivaVillage encourages readers to know and express their unique selves while using celebrities for inspiration. Since its launch in April 2005, founder Anita Dhaliwal has worked to address the whole self, encourage women to “awaken the diva within,” and help viewers feel fulfilled and happy with the beautiful creation they already are. The success of DivaVillage has been attributed to that fact that the site fills a major hole in the market. Ms. Dhaliwal says, “I found that women wanted particular fashion or beauty products but didn’t know where to find them. At DivaVillage, we link them immediately to places where they can purchase what’s hot in the market.” The combination of offering this immediate link and offering positive, clean content has spelled out success for DivaVillage.

DivaVillage has also created products that were instantaneously loved by several celebrities and publications. Their line entitled “My Arm Candy” contains handmade ethnic arm bangles that were a featured item at the 2005 American Music Awards, and given to Lindsay Lohan, Mariah Carey, and Hilary Duff. Celebrities Bai Ling, Shar Jackson, Miss Issa, Shauney Baby, Myrka Dellanos, and Kim Alexis are frequently seen sporting their My Arm Candy around Hollywood. The cuffs were also featured in Fourpoints magazine this month as the perfect accessory to complete any outfit. The “My Arm Candy” cuffs can be found on http://www.myarmcandy.com. DivaVillage also recently released a “Diva Chic” tee that contains a diva silhouette and simply reads “Awaken the Diva in You.” The vintage cotton tee was featured in Upscale Magazine’s April 2006 issue. The tees can be found on DivaVillage.com’s website in their shopping section at http://divavillage.com/shopping.php?type=products&id=30.

With the launch of a new and improved homepage, DivaVillage hopes to continue reaching women by offering articles to stimulate them mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The new design allows for a mixture of sophistication and youth, as well as allowing for DivaVillage to showcase more of their uplifting content so that readers will receive the latest news on fashion, entertainment, empowering, and food and fitness. Visit the new DivaVillage site at http://www.divavillage.com, and when you sign up to become a member for free, you receive the latest offers and coupons from dozens of online shops, updates on what’s new on DivaVillage, and the ability to enter their daily giveaways and chat in their forums.
