The automobile business is a people business. Everyone at Acura of Valley Stream realizes that our existence and success are dependent on how satisfied our clients are. We aim not to merely meet expectations, but to exceed them.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Acura, the first Japanese luxury car brand, and there have been quite a few impressive milestones in that time. Their upscale models have earned them several honors, including the Acura RL winning CNET’s Car of the Year award as well as a place on Ward’s 10 Best Engines list. Car and Driver gave one of its “10 Best Awards” to the Acura TSX and the Acura TL was named 2006 “Best in Class” by Kiplinger.

Also started in 1986, the Acura of Valley Stream dealership is marking its 20 year anniversary with the launch of a new Web site and constructing convenience-focused service facilities. They pride themselves with being one of the original Acura dealers, but remain dedicated to the fact that modern technology will complement their experienced customer service.

As Steve Verga, their Sales Manager, puts it, “We strive to be one of New York's leading dealerships. Our well-trained and Acura-certified staff works to make the entire Acura sales and service experience a pleasure. Everyone at Acura of Valley Stream is working to integrate technology into all of our business processes to enhance value for our clients.”

The Web site is running just in time for Acura’s newest release, the RDX SUV, in July. The much anticipated RDX will head Acura’s light truck lineup for 2007 and combines Acura’s first turbocharged engine with all-wheel drive for top performance and easy handling.

The Web site will enable the customer to search the Acura of Valley Stream inventory for new and used Acuras online. This ensures that no unnecessary trips are made because now the customer can know exactly what is on the lot before they get there. For custom models, the website features a way to build a car online to a customer’s specifications. Both of these aspects are a way for Acura dealers to help their consumers make informed purchases without leaving their home.

This kind of client satisfaction is exactly what Acura of Valley Stream wants to bring people that are searching for new and used Acuras. With over 12 years of Acura experience, Verga explains, “The automobile business is a people business. Everyone at Acura of Valley Stream realizes that our existence and success are dependent on how satisfied our clients are. We aim not to merely meet expectations, but to exceed them.”

Acura of Valley Stream is planning to exceed customer expectations with changes to their service center. Using their Web site, people can now conveniently make a service appointment online. The dealership is also currently constructing a progressive new service center that will make their customers’ car maintenance and repairs easier and faster. Additionally, the center boasts an automated car wash, 25 loaner cars, and a shuttle service. So while Acura of Valley Stream is one of the oldest Acura dealers, they have added these new technologies to blend with their “old world” customer service ideals that they have been serving the community with since 1986.
